The grain on this one reminds me of the spring and summer storm fronts that roll through central Illinois. It measures 5.5” wide by 7.5” tall, turned from box elder, and is finished with wipe-on poly.
Great Place to Find Free Woodworking Material - Free-Standing Cupboard Built With Free Materials
This is a free-standing cupboard that I recently built using some nice white oak and black walnut. It was built using free material that I got from a flooring company that was moving and offered some remnants on the internet (for free). It did take a little more work glueing up and surfacing it to get the necessary widths to complete the cupboard, but it was well worth it.
